The Songkhla Orphanage

Songkhla Orphanage, Thailand is the main government run orphanage for Southern Thailand. The formal name is Songkhla Babies' Home.

There are approximately 1,500 children at the orphanage ranging from infants to those 17 years of age. The children were orphaned for a variety of causes extending from the unfortunate loss of parents from daily life, to the religious violence in Southern Thailand and the natural disaster of the Asian Tsunami.

All the money raised will go to the orphanage. No expenses will be deducted except bank fees. My parents are paying for me to travel to the orphanage. This project is not a registered charity anywhere, so I cannot answer any questions about tax deductibility of donations.
